Komiza is the second largest place on the island with approx 1500 inhabitants. It is situated on the southwest of the island, and has an unspoiled ambience of an anchient fishing place. The Komiza people used to live from fishing and agriculture in the past, but today they deal mostly with tourism. With the history of a small fishing place, Komiza became an exclusive tourist destination, that with its ambience and a rich ganstronomic offer attracts many tourists.
